"Contemporary Art for Kids" is a 10-week remote art class in which we make art inspired by modern and contemporary artists, from Henri Matisse to Yayoi Kusama. Materials will vary from week-to-week and are listed in the curriculum below. They will include: pencil, colored paper, eraser, colored pens, colored pencils, watercolors or tempora/acrylic paint, paintbrushes, scissors, glue or tape, magazines for collage, cardboard, and crayons or oil pastels. I will send out an email at the beginning of each week with a reminder about which materials are needed. The class is $45 per week, per kid. Parents can pay after each lesson and are not required to pay anything up front. However, I do ask that kids try to attend at least 6 of the 10 weeks.
